        • SYNOPSIS

          This is an encounter of Hollywood and European underground in the feature of Milutin Petrović. The film is dedicated to the work of Ljubomir Šimunić, author of avant-garde films and photographs. The Loop is a visual exploration of the phenomenon of eroticism in film. Selected elements of film language show us the search for the missing film shaman and great wizard of picture – Šime.

          Milutin Petrović

           

          Born in 1961 in Belgrade, Serbia. For thirty years he has been a professional director in film, theater, television and advertising. The Loop is his fifth feature film. He wrote a book of essays about the film 52 perfect film weekends. Runs a private film school Preditor. He is also a musician.

          …this film is based on quite prestigious holographic approach to modeling of the world, and thus involves a search for the poetics of the future. On the other hand, this is a nostalgic film, nostalgic primarily for the film as such, for which we do not want to accept its transience.
