SYNOPSIS

With her close friend, Mate, Tamara departs on a trip by cargo boat towards Hawaii. There she wants to spill the ashes of her friend Tony in the Pacific Ocean. Last winter she spent with him as he was dying, and now, whith this long journey followed by film travelogue, she wants to evoke the memory of that moment. From sparkling light reflected by waves to immense horizon of the open sea, Tamara records the events, or more precisely, the absence of events, offered by the deck of the ocean ship. When they cross the Atlantic Ocean, the ancient boundries of what was once known world, the ship reaches the island of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean Sea.

Tamara Drakulić

Tamara Drakulić studied at the Academy of Art in Belgrade, with professor Milutin Petrović. Currently she attends studies of visual antropology at the Facutly of Philosphy in Belgrade, with professor Slobodan Naumović. In addition to film engagements, with colleague Ana Ivanović, she was the author, music editor and host of an independent radio show called Swing on New Radio Belgrade. In 2012. she made her first feature film The Swing, which participated several international and regional festivals.
