        • SYNOPSIS

          Jovan starts serving his one year prison sentence in the special prison hospital, on the department for convicted addicts. He’s introduced to the rules of the institution and to the self-organized order by inmates. Inmates hold on to their internal rules which are constructed around heroin, and Mare the dealer is in the center of the power. Jovan stays apart, but inside the system of double rules, all his actions seem already predicted and lead to the same outcome: into the illness.

          Mirko Abrlić

           

          Mirko Abrlić was born in Belgrade in 1969. He is an economist by education. He engages in the field of empowerment of vulnerable social groups. He writes poetry and prose, also works in film for the last few years. Inside is his first feature film as writer and director.

          Jelena Marković

           

          Born in Belgrade in 1973. She graduated from the Department for Film and TV Directing, Faculty of Drama Arts (FDU) in Belgrade. She is member of Association of Film Artists of Serbia (UFUS) and of Association of Film Directors of Serbia (AFRS). She has worked as a free-lancer for over 15 years in film and television. In film, she also works as producer, writer and actress. She is an engaged peace activist and a feminist.
