FEST commemorates Vlada Divljan

BELGRADE - Famous musician Vlada Divljan, who died in Vienna on Thursday, has been commemorated at Fest. Before the screening of the film Theory of Everything at Sava Centar on Thursday, Fest Art Director Jugoslav Pantelic asked the audience to rise and commemorate Divljan with a moment of silence.

The packed theatre went silent in honour of the great artist.

Divljan will be remembered as a brilliant musician who left a great mark on the Yugoslav scene, both as a solo artist and as part of the famous band Idoli.

Divljan published two albums with Idoli and three solo albums. He also composed music for Serbian films.

Fest issued a formal statement as well, expressing regret over this great loss.
