      Neda Arnerić / Jury President

      Neda Arnerić is a film, TV and theatre actress. She started her carrier in Puriša Đorđević’s trilogy containing films The Dream, The Morning and The Noon. She had more than hundred films and TV roles. She also played in over 50 theatre plays. She was awarded The Empress Teodora in Niš, Gold and Silver Arena from Pula, etc. She is also the Plaque of Yugoslav Film Archive and Pavle Vujisić award laureate. Neda is an Art Director at Niš Art Foundation since 2005.

       

       

      Srđan Dragojević

      Srđan Dragojević is Serbian director, writer and producer. He is an author of several iconic films. His first feature movie We Are Not Angels was greatly acclaimed by critics and audience. The same happened with the movies that followed in the 90s. He attended numerous festivals around the world where he received many awards. He has published three books of poems, and one of them Knjiga akcione poezije (The Book of Action Poetry) earned him a Branko Radičević award in 1986.

       

      Deborah Kara Unger

      She is the first Canadian accepted into Australia’s prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art, with Cate Blanchet and Catherine Martin. She debuted in Prisoners of the Sun. Films The Game, Hurricane, Payback soon followed. In 2010 she became the first female recipient of the Star of Excellence on the Walk of Fame at Oldenburg International Film Festival, labeled Germany’s Sundance. In television she made her debut in the Bangkok Hilton. Deborah is also a screenwriter and has been a member of the Board for The German Independence Award since 2012.

       

      Maja Miloš

      Maja Miloš graduated film and television directing from Faculty of Drama Arts in Belgrade. In 2005, she took part in the Berlinale Talent Campus and in 2006 she attended the Documentary Film School at La Femis, Paris. During her studies she directed eleven short films and documentaries, many of them nationally and internationally recognized. Her first feature film Clip from 2012 won numerous prizes after winning the Tiger award at Rotterdam international film festival. She was a jury member in various festivals, among which Karlovy Vary IFF (2013) and Rotterdam IFF (2015).

       

      Giuseppe Piccioni

      His first film, The Big Blek, received many awards and competed at Berlin Film Festival in 1988. In 1999, Not of This World (Fuori dal mondo), his fifth film, received the Grand Jury Prize for Best Film in competition as well as the Audience Award for Best Film at AFI Film Festival in Los Angeles and was nominated Italian contender for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars. In 2012 he directed The Red and the Blue. The film received many awards and good response from the box office.

       

      Ellen Kuras

      Ellen Kuras is a director, cinematographer and writer. She is also an Academy Award-winning Director of Photography. Ellen is well recognized for her cinematography on the visually impressive Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Blow. Her directorial debut and longtime personal project The Betrayal, which she directed, shot and produced, was nominated for an Academy Award in 2009. In addition to the Academy and Emmy recognition, she is the recipient of many professional awards, including the Kodak Crystal award.

       

      Liu Jie

      Liu Jie graduated from the Department of Photography at Beijing Film Academy in 1991. He worked as director, producer and director of photography from 1992. He directed his first film Courthouse on the Horseback in 2006, the film won the Horizons Award at 63rd Venice International Film Festival. His following films attended various festivals and won many awards. He was also member of a jury of the 66th Venice IFF and 17th Shanghai IFF.
